Nordschleife is the long track of the Nürburgring racetrack, located in the forests of the Eifel region (Germany). It is the longest racetrack in the world with a length of 20 kilometers, a total of 40 left turns, 50 right turns and a height difference of 300 meters along the track.

Since its construction in 1927, the Nordschleife has earned a reputation as one of the most feared and difficult circuits to drive. Formula 1 driver Jackie Stewart, after becoming world champion three times (1969, 1971 and 1973) was so impressed by the circuit that he gave it the nickname by which it is known today: Green Hell (Grüne Hölle).

Today, the most famous event concerning the circuit is the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring, which has 800 drivers and a maximum of 200 cars participating in the race.
