Yokohama Port (浜港 Yokohama-kō?)

is managed by the Yokohama City Port Bureau, Japan. It opens out into Tokyo Bay. To the south lies the Port of Yokosuka; to the north, the ports of Kawasaki and Tokyo.

Facilities

The Port of Yokohama has ten major piers. Honmoku Pier is the port's central facility with 25 berths.

Osanbashi Pier receives passenger traffic, and has customs and immigration facilities for international travel. Detamachi, the "banana pier," is equipped to receive fresh fruits and vegetables.

Daikoku Pier, on a 321-hectare artificial island, contains one million square meters of storage space.4 Seven berths at Mizuho Pier are used by the U.S. Armed Forces in Japan.5 Other piers receive lumber and perform other functions.
