Brands Hatch is a racetrack located in Kent, England, United Kingdom, about 35 km southeast of the City of London. The circuit's name comes from the Gaelic word Brondehach, which is composed of bron ("forested slope") and hach ("forest entrance").1 Since 2004, Brands Hatch has been owned by MotorSport Vision.

It hosted the Formula 1 British Grand Prix in even-numbered years between the 1964 and 1986 seasons, and also the European Grand Prix in 1983 and 1985. It also hosted the Race of Champions. Disputed on an interrupted basis between 1965 and 1983, it was a non-championship race with Formula 1 drivers and constructors, held at the end of the official season.

Brands Hatch has hosted dates of other international motorsport categories. The World Endurance Championship held races there in the 1960s to 1980s. Later, the World Superbike Championship visited the track between 1993 and 2008, and the World Endurance Motorcycle Championship in 2001.

In addition, the World Touring Car Championship raced there between 2006 and 2010, and the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters between 2006 and 2013.

As for single-seaters, the USAC National Championship held a date in 1978, and the Champ Car World Series in 2003. The A1 Grand Prix, Formula 2, Formula 3000, Formula Master International and Formula 3 Euroseries have also raced there.

In addition, being one of the main venues in the country, it frequently hosts the British Formula 3, touring car, grand touring car and superbike championships.

Brands Hatch hosted its first race in 1926. Currently, the racetrack offers three different layouts: a 3,703-meter asphalt one (Grand Prix), a 1,929-meter one (Indy) and a mixed asphalt and gravel one for rallycross competitions.
