American Truck Simulator Freightliner Century Truck Download MODs

The Freightliner Century class is an aerodynamic sloping hood Class 8 truck manufactured by the American truck manufacturer Freightliner.

It was introduced in 1995 (as a 1996 model) to replace the FLD series, although the FLD remained in production throughout the 2001 model year.

The Century class was renamed the Century Class S/T model (which stood for safety and technology) for the 2000 model year. The S/T package added a driver-side airbag and improved seat restraints.

The Century Class S/T was also offered with Driver's Lounge and Backpack options. The Backpack option had an added fiberglass cup added to the outside of the rear sleeper model, which provided additional interior space.

The 2005 model year brought a facelift with larger "jeweled" headlamps in a redesigned headlight housing, a redesigned front grille with larger horizontal bars and a redesigned front bumper, now with an optional recessed circular fog and headlamp surround, and optional chrome around the headlamps and a more aerodynamic overall profile.

The Century class became Freightliner's flagship when FLD ceased production in 2001.

When the Freightliner Columbia was introduced in 2002, the Century class remained the flagship model, as the Columbia was marketed primarily as a fleet truck, while the Century class was aimed more at owner-operators.

The Century remained in production in the US until 2010, when it was officially replaced by the newly designed Cascadia. It was discontinued in its export market in 2020 in favor of continued production of the Columbia CL112, and the Century was previously a higher-end conventional truck model than the Cascadia, which also replaced the Argosy cab.
